Anyone who’s been in Ann Arbor during the summer months, knows there’s a lot happening here. Throughout the next few months, several reputable events are taking place and bringing large crowds of people downtown. Old, young, or somewhere in between, chances are there’s something taking place that you will love!
You may know Black Pearl for our seafood and martinis, but did you know we also grow microgreens? Located next to our kitchen is a grow room, which is the main location for the Black Pearl Gardens. That’s right - microgreens are grown right inside of the Black Pearl! We have also started growing at a 4,000 square foot warehouse, allowing us to produce more microgreens.
On August 21, 2016 Black Pearl partnered with Growing Hope to serve a “Farm to Table” fundraising dinner.Chef James Wilhelm prepared a menu featuring locally, really on-site, grown vegetables. Vegetables were freshly harvested from local gardens and served on-site so the diners could enjoy the beauty of the late summer working urban farm.
Black Pearl Ann Arbor’s Private Event Room has been used on many occasions but never has it been the location of a unique live performance which has forever changed the lives of a couple.
Your best friend just got engaged and asked you to be best man. The hope that his fiancé will want to get married in a couple of years has faded away and reality is next summer.
What do you do for your friend’s bachelor party?
What Happens AFTER The Bachelor Party?
Aside from the hangover and the sideways glance of your future wife, well, it’s a WEDDING, of course.
Then once the final I DO is spoken and the newly married couple kiss at the wedding ceremony - whether that’s held at a church, synagogue, courthouse or backyard - it’s WEDDING RECEPTION time.
A wedding reception shouldn’t be a headache to plan and shouldn’t be the focus of the bride (or groom) on the day of the event.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve covered the engagement, bachelor party, and wedding reception. Now it’s time to think about anniversaries and the importance of marking those milestones.
Marking important anniversaries can actually help strengthen relationships, not only with one another but with family and friends. These gatherings help ignite memories of the time you met, your wedding vows and the wonderful times spent together. Celebrations are also important for creating new memories.
You no longer have to be present, onsite, for a meeting. Digital technology has enhanced how we do business.
